I TOTALLY LOVED THIS BOOK!!! It was an easy read, but it was very entertaining. It kept me on my feet. I was so engaged in this book that I am going to buy the next two books, I want to know what happens next! This book relates to our other novels by others being in control. Someone is always watching them or making them do something that they don't want to do! I don't really like this concept, but I mean, this book was that god that I really didn't get mad like I did with the others! My favorite part of this book was the turning point (in my case). When they announced that 2 people could win from the same district, I dropped my jaws and almost cried. I was shocked, amazed and so many more feelings went through my body, it was unbelievable. I literally just got back from watching Tron Legacy with my roommate. This story reminds me of it just a bit. Someone was trying to control them and basically, Sam (main character) had to fight for his life to survive and get back home. Below is a clip because I don't think it is released yet, and if it is, I didn't find any clips on it on YouTube.

Haha I was exactly the same way at that part of the book and I want to read the next two during the summer, it was just too good! I do like how you are comparing the book to a more modern futuristic type of society( and the movie does look good).
ReplyDeleteThe movie is so good, I am buying it soon!
ReplyDeleteTron is an amazing movie. It's so good. I didn't think of comparing Tron to The Hunger Games, but it's true. When he's fighting with the light disks and on the cycles. Great scenes by the way. :D
ReplyDeleteThis was a really good book, and i have never seen tron, but it probably is a good connection to this book haha.
ReplyDeleteI loved the book too! But I recommend checking out the library, either the school one or the one in town. That's what I did and it saved me over $20 bucks. I was totally shocked when they announced that 2 people could win, and then enraged when they said they had changed their minds.
ReplyDeleteI thought of that, but I kinda want to buy them myself to share with my friends and my family!
